Oh, and my phone bill for the last month came in today, just a shade short of $200. Long-distance relationships can be MIGHTY painful (but I shudder to think what Erich's bill will be this month!!) Guess I'll just have to move ASAP ;-)

Hey grant! I just got my long distance bill for the past 2 months - I was scared! And all my calls to Boof for 2 mos only came to $120! I thought that was really good! it actually costs me more to call my brother in new york, as I have a special international plan. (well, I did have a phone card for some of that time too I guess) Hope things are going well for you and Erich!

Hmmmm.. I can see that I'm going to have to get a phone at home rather than using my mobile for everything. Either that or SKYPE...

Haven't any of you guys heard about SKYPE.COM?? It is silly to be paying such huge phone bills --- just download skype and you can coo and smooch and tweak and squirt all you want for free or for pennies an hour. They have free computer to computer communication and you can call from a computer to a land line for about 10 cents a minute. Erik and I use it when I travel in Asia and it works pretty well -- unless you are both on very slow dial up lines. Try it!

I don't know what she's done to rile you up, but yer askin me to trust Bush with the power to lock up people indefinitely with no access to the court system, and who says they do not torture people but certain gov't agencies need to be exempted from the 'no torture' law.
