Stolen time

I'm here at LAX in the most horrible lounge- but I've got a vague connection to Air China's wireless. I'd go ask if I may have permission to use it but I'd probably get shot or something.

It's hotter here than it is in our summer- apparently it's 21c outside! The flight went well, I slept for most of it, greatly assisted by a cute beardy trolley dolley who served me glasses full of gin. I watched "the worlds fastest indian", complete with "the worlds strangest kiwi accent", which was actually not bad. And then I watched "charlie and the chocolate factory" which was what finally sent me to sleep... I felt really safe on teh flight too, because both my doctors were sitting across the aisle from me. :-)

The customs droid was amusing- he asked where I was staying, I said "anchorage" and he went "What the hell are you gonna do up there?!?... err, Sorry sir, I mean, what is the purpose of your visit?"

I didnt have the heart to tell him I hoped to stay in bed for most of it...
Gettin REAL excited now!!!
