Just finished sorting out all the Urge banking and paperwork for this week- damn but I do hate counting cash, especially when its sticky ex-bar cash. I think I washed my hands about 10 times. But its all done, and the system I devised (based on Paul's system, but with less reliance on post-it notes and staples) should make things easier for both Paul and Alan, and for anyone in future who needs to take over temporarily.

And now I'm knackered. I had a healthy chicken salad for dinner and it's knocked the wind out of me. Time to collapse face-down on the keyboard...

For counting sticky ex-bar cash, you might want to try wearing latex gloves. That saves on the amount of handwashing time.

Latex makes me sweat, and to be honest it was only the occasional super-sticky note that made me go 'ick' and run to the sink. I think someone dropped their wallet in their drink.

If I send the attack dwarf to you will you train her? Currently "must have essentials" list for the new house is totalling 12,000 GBP..... Urrm the fact that we already live in a house with full essentials (for example inc matching kitchen implements, full set of Le Creuset etc etc) appears wasted on her. However it may have something to do with them originally being purchased by my ex-wife. When they said divorce was expensive I had no idea they meant for the next 10 years alos... LOL

Divorce is like bankruptcy: it may be the most convenient way out at the time, but the long-term effects may not be worth it.

Come to think of it, bankruptcy may have been a better solution...
