You're thinking of a Jeep. This is a Land Rover, and with its low-slung chassis, aluminium V8 and alloy bodywork they're actually rather fun to drive.

Never having driven one, I bow to your experience - but it sure doesn't look like a low CG vehicle.

Nice big V8 Defender with the hose-out interior, seating for 11 (if you want to call two large plywood shelves 'seating') and the ability to drag anything out of anywhere. Mmmm....
