growler_southThe house is a wreck, empty bottles everywhere and a number of new mystery stainsTM on the carpet. All a bit of a tribute to what was a fantastic housewarming/birthday party. (Yes, it was paul's birthday too.)
I think there must have been 50 people in our tiny house at one point, packed into the lounge, spilling off the balcony, snogging in the bedrooms... hurrah! I set up the palmtop with 6 hours of fairly generic party music, which played upstairs, and downstairs I had on lots of dance music spiked with '80s cheeze.
The night started out just fine, civilised even, but went downhill fast when someone arrived with cookies. Mmm coookiesss... I blame the cookies for the way my plates of snacky food were untouched until 10pm, when they were descended on and devoured.
Wekicked everyone out adjourned the party to Urge at around midnight. Alan was working behind the bar despite having to get up at 6am and go to his other job, and was putting on his brave face- such a trooper. I sucked face with a couple of very woofy lads, but my indecision cost me as they ended up going home with each other rather than me. Dammit. *grin*
