Rachel's car got broken into last night: rear quarter glass smashed, blood everywhere, nothing taken though. Quotes to replace it varied from $95-$215 ("Because it's a european car, maam."). I called up my friendly Volkswagen service tech, who trembles at my call after the fiasco with Paul's car, and got a new genuine glass delivere3d for $41. Twelve minutes after it arrived I had it installed and all buttoned up again. Rachel is very happy. Glenn's not so sure I should be doing car glazing during work time.

In other news: Paul3's job proposal was accepted today, so he's moving to the south island later next month, leaving me to move in with Johnny and Kim. Lovely. I migh even save some money. If I still have a job. *grin*

Not likely, it's rear quarter (THE glass to break when smashing into a car) and the blood's on the inside, mostly around the lock knob. Also, every junk holder- sorry, glove box- in the car has been opened and emptied. It's more a case of Rachel having nothing to steal- the stereo is crap, no CDs, lots of tissues and paperwork and girly things.
