Inspired by Mondobear, i have given in to the dark side and bought an HP Jornada 720, and just got the wireless card to work with it. I always thought the Jornadas were pretty cool, and now they are cheap enough that i can afford one...
Anyway when i was in Thailand i missed having a WiFi internet device, but didnt miss the weight and hassle of my laptop- hopefully this is the right solution! anyway for $200nz i cant really be complain if it turns out to be a hassle.

Date: 2004-05-29 08:53 pm (UTC)I used drivers i found by looking at the driver compatability lists at www.cewindows.net they list many cards and the drivers that will work with the cards- the Compex wasnt listed but there was a compaq card called the WL110 which I thought sounded close enough that it should work- and it did (once i figured out that my operating system is CE3.0 and not HPC2000)
