C'mon fucker, I dare you...

And so started my evening, with malevolent sushi. Delicious, crunchy, fresh malevolent sushi. But still- you know your evening's going a bit weird when your food looks like the incredible hulk.

The bizarre and foreboding theme was continued by my first customer at the bar: "I'll have an Archers and lime, and a Coke Zero."

WTF? no, srsly, WTF?

Though it was followed up nicely by my second customer, who wanted a rosé wine. Man, it's going to be a long night. Especially when the liquor licensing ladies from the council came in and gave me shit for not having signs up offering food, promoting food, or promoting non-alcoholic drinks. Strangely enough, I dont remember those signs being part of the Sale of Liquor Act 1989 or amendments, but the council is its own power and can interpret the law as it sees fit I guess.

I missed something. I get that you might not have the cheap and cheerful favourite rosé, but what is Archers? And was that the WTF, or are you referring to the Coke Zero (as I'm guessing that would also be something a pub wouldn't generally have).
