More electrical shenanigans

Saturday dawned bright and hard. Well, hard after yours truly sleepily executed some strategic Snuggling & Grinding (tm). When we eventually got out of bed it was Morris on the roof with the telly aerial, Growler on the lawn with the magical overalls of exposure (as seen last week at Urge), and Rick mowing the lawn. After puttering about with the splitter and getting a few electric shocks, Mo found that the balun was rusted out- so a minor improvement of signal was all we got.
The boys introduced me to "terminal velocity" -Charlie Sheen in a spy movie based around skydiving. Surprisingly good, although it seemed that the more dramatic and dangerous a drop, the longer it took...
The telly's behaving a bit strangely- sometimes the picture gets a green tint, switching to progressive scan on the DVD generates a "no input" error, and once it went 'click' and the picture disappeared for a fraction of a second. Hopefully these are burn-in issues and will resolve themselves.
