Dammit!!!
Seems my super-cheap return fare wasnt eligible for air miles at all. Luckily it only took them 4 weeks to tell me this and I can purchase the 6000 miles I need for only $250. I guess that isnt too bad.
Oh, and the best bit is that this brings my balance to exactly what I need to buy my tickets- which means I can exit United's air miles program and join Air New Zealand's without leaving a heap of miles behind. Yay!
I'm thinking 18-24 July until 15-20 October. Any objections?
