growler_southThe summer has broken, in spectacular fashion, with flat grey skies, thunderstorms and soaking downpours. With some luck we'll have a reprieve in, say, 5 days time, but at least it's still warm.
In other news, it seems waterblasting the engine bay of an old BMW isn't such a great idea when some of the seals are perished. Like the high-tension cable grommet on the HID igniter. Man, those things tingle. 5000v AC will do that. So this morning saw me out there with a hairdryer, drying off the igniter until it worked again.
