Brian's googling "Hippie Granola Grocery Store site:nz" as part of his quest for ground flax seeds.

It just struck me as funny.

We're off to the bar soon to set up- it's uniform and leather night, and there's been a lot of interest- could be a fun night!! I better buy some more beer I guess..

Yep. Grant found some totally hippy grocery (Google didn't), and they explained that "flaxseed" is the same as "linseed", and they had ground linseed in the refrigerated section...

Yay. My high-fiber diet continues.

Dietary fiber is a carbohydrate. :-)

I don't normally deal with the hippy nuts and berries stuff, but I've been having gut problems and my doc has me eating my weight in fiber every day. I'd hate it except... it makes me pain-free and happy.

In any case it's better to get whole flax seeds and grind them at home for complete freshness. (Maybe I lived in Kitsilano too long.)

Leather night seems like fun. I like those kinds of things. We have a new bear night here in Vancouver now.
