growler_southI got heaps done today- woke at 5am to pick up Alan and Paul at the airport, then did my invoicing, pay sheets, banked the takings from Urge, picked up the posters for the upcoming leather competition, delivered them to the bar and to Basement, parked the car up and walked to the first day of rehearsals.
All this by 9am.
Rehearsals went really well- everyone is stoked with what we're doing, and my new laptop coped wonderfully with creating new elements on the fly. I'm really excited about it all.
After rehearsals it was back to being stupidly busy- I popped in to see Keith Clancy's latest exhibition, part of a group exhibition, and then it was off to see![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
mikeybill to plunder his library of camp movie classics. Then off shopping for beer for Urge, stocking up the bar and setting up for this coming weekend, then finally home. I guess I should eat something, but it's probably more important to sleep.
Oh and I'm wondering if I really need a car. I've decided I dont need an icemaker (especially one that's slightly too big for the bar) so that's going on TradeMe tomorrow, but I wonder if keeping the MR2 is a bit silly. It's stupidly fast and a heap of fun, but it guzzles gas, holds two and has a tiny trunk. Might be time to let it find another home...
