Dear Intarwebs,

I'm increasingly worried about my friends. I dont know if its peer pressure or what, but lately I've noticed them displaying addictive patterns of behaviour. Being restless and cranky if they dont get their fix. Insisting on indulging their addiction even if it's inconvenient. Using more and more, regardless of the implications to their health. Having *dinner parties* where they can all indulge their addiction together.

I'm not saying that I dont eat. I have been known to indulge once in a while, but I try and wait until I'm hungry, which tends to be Tuesdays around 3pm. But some of my friends eat as many as three meals a day. Every day. And I bet they're sneaking snacks in too, though like many addicts I'm sure they try to hide them.

I understand that they must admit they have a problem before they can move on- and with so many fellow addicts I must sadly concede that the chances of change happening are low. But surely there must be a support group for concerned friends and relatives- something to offer advice and help us cope with our loved ones' obsession.

Yours in anticipation,
Growler.
