Supercharger kit! only $7000nz. Bloody hell.
Since that is clearly out of the question I went outside and fitted the new tweeters. I actually think the black looks better than the grey, stands out more and matches the doorhandles/power mirror control.
The waterproof lining on the passenger door has lost its mastic, so thats where I suspect the water is getting in. Will grab a tube of appropriate goo and seal it up this weekend. Also the door panels are made of cardboard (High-quality german cardboard, to be sure, but so were Trabants) and some of the internal bracketry (also cardboard) has come adrift. I think they used PVA to hold it together. To be fixed while waterproof lining is setting. Might even look at the drivers window which makes the funny noise...
