From overcast rainyness yesterday to hot sun and blooming garden this morning. The garden's been a bit flat over winter but with the approach of Spring, and a bit of vicious pruning last weekend, its coming to life.
So of course I spent the day rebuilding the rear brakes on the Piazza. Saffy helped- or tried to. Her expert opinion was that all the brakes needed was a pink rubber toy- no matter how often I threw it away she would keep bringing it back, all slobbery and muddy, and poke it in my lap. Or, if was under the car, in my ear.
In the end I threw it in the pond (accidentally, of course). Saffy hates to get wet, and circled the pond for about 20 minutes trying to coax the ball to jump out of the water by itself.

(Moment from last night- Saffy likes whipped cream, even when its squirted up her nose. Accidentally of course ;-))

Morris called this morning- he was up till 3am playing scrabble. I would have thought it was tricky to play scrabble when one of you has handcuffs on, but who knows. I told them that Rick and I had been playing poker ;-) Kevin has bought us 460 Metres of fairy lights for christmas. (Its going to take us forever to put them up, might just have to leave them up all year round.) It was so good to hear Mo's voice, he sounded really chirpy, he's clearly in holiday mode already :-D
