The boys are off christmas shopping in Oz, so I'm at home looking after the doggies. Its funny how dogs take after their owners- Saffy is perky and energetic and ALWAYS wants to play, but once she's exhausted she loves to snuggle. Dyna is wilful and stubborn, but so full of love...

I lost a tub of ice-cream. I saw the checkout lady put it in the bag with my frozen pizza, but when I got home there was just frozen pizza in the bag. Very confusing. Perhaps my car's trunk likes ice-cream?

The sunset is beautiful as ever here, so I'm just sitting outside with my laptop and cigar, doggies sitting beside me, waiting for my pizza to finish cooking.

I miss the boys but Ive had a few messages from them so i know theyre having fun and still thinking of me :-)

I presume you looked around in the trunk -- nothing worse than coming back later to find a pool of melted icecream all over the inside of your car....

My trunk resembles the interior of a large suitcase. Shallow, clean, and very very small. Theres nowhere a tub of icecream could *go*. The only thing I can think of is that it fell out of the bag as I fumbled for my keys...

Oh, stogie: Hoyo de Monterrey Excalibur no.1. Very light and smooth, not too spicy but the sort of thing a small guy like me can smoke to the end without turning green and falling over. A bit embarassing to smoke in public though, makes my hands look *tiny*.

Hell, on special occasions I smoke a Casa Blanca Jereboam in public -- which are 10" long by 66 ring. My usual smoke is the C.B. Magnum, about 7.25" by 60 ring.

I feel very selfconscious smoking anything too big in public- like people will think I'm trying too hard. I tend to stick to the Romeo and julietta and Upmann coronas for out the back of the bar, partly because of the above but mostly because they dont take as long to finish :-)

Well -- I'll admit that I'm a little selfconscious about the Jereboams, but only because they're so much longer than my regular cigar I'm afraid I'll forget myself and accidentally burn someone. ;)

Granted, I tend to save those for specifically CIGAR oriented events, where people appreciate such excess. ;)

I'd be the opposite- I'd take what I always smoke to a cigar event (if they even *had* them in NZ) because I'd feel more comfortable...

Just be careful, is Dyna's stomach an odd shape right now, like the same shape as a 2L Ice Cream container... dont trust her, she is very wilful and cunning... It'd be all saffy's fault...

Wilful and stubborn? You know it... And no, neither of the doggies ate it, they were sitting on the seats in full view for the whole 5 minutes it took me to drive home...
