I hereby decree the recently-coined 'Binogamous' to be superseded by the term 'Duogamous', lest the inclusion of the prefix 'Bi-' imply a touch of bisexuality.

Perhaps a little clarification: last weekend we were struggling with the incongruity of using 'monogamous' to describe a sexually-exclusive 3-way relationship. We decided that the participants couldnt really be called monogamous and a new word, Binogamous, was needed.

Its kind of odd being me right now. I'm tired and cranky thanks to jet lag and coming back to work, but I'm also happy and optimistic about the future- it makes for an interesting set of mood swings. I think maybe I'm just getting used to my altered ambitions- I dont see myself living here in NZ permanently any more (no prizes for guessing which state has captured my imagination) and it's freed me from a number of concerns.

I think for the next year or so I'm going to enjoy my work and my friends, the simple things, and leave the materialistic goals behind.

That said, I'm trying to figure out how I can make a workshop pay for itself. I need to work on my car, for sure, but I also need to start producing some furniture. I'll go mad if I dont get cracking on some projects...
