The summer has broken, in spectacular fashion, with flat grey skies, thunderstorms and soaking downpours. With some luck we'll have a reprieve in, say, 5 days time, but at least it's still warm.

In other news, it seems waterblasting the engine bay of an old BMW isn't such a great idea when some of the seals are perished. Like the high-tension cable grommet on the HID igniter. Man, those things tingle. 5000v AC will do that. So this morning saw me out there with a hairdryer, drying off the igniter until it worked again.

Call for entries!!

I'm making some generic posters to go in the lightbox at the bar- something that will have the opening hours, and maybe details of upcoming events. It's to be used inside the bar itself, only seen by patrons and guests, never published on the web or in magazines.

I needs images. Preferably nice big photos, more than 1500 pixels tall, and sort of vertical. Things like:

I'm specifically looking for smiling, friendly bears and leathermen, friends and family and people I love, not the typical model/porn star/attitude shots every other bar uses. Good decent holiday snaps or lovely couples shots. I wanna try something different.

Anyone want to share some of their lovely photos? The ones that make you go 'Awww' or 'woof!!'? There's a website credit on the image in it for ya...
