I think the reality is sinking in for both Erich and myself: it's really happening, and though its never too late to call it off, its almost impossible to do so now. I get to support my bear here on my own turf where I'm strongest and most resourceful, he gets a fresh start, a calm break, to experience life in a friendlier, warmer country. We both get to know someone we really want to know better and to start devising a future.

And it's currently scaring the pants off us. Yeehah!! All those what-ifs, the good ones and bad ones, now we get to actually find out- what if?

Trust me, I am. No backing out now- well, no backing out without immense emotional and financial pain. We'll be giving it our best shot- and I tend to believe that my best shot is more than adequate.
