We have the technology!
Well, half of it. The PID temperature controller is still on a rowboat from the US, so our sous vide ambitions have been delayed. In the meantime, I shall vacuum pack EVERYTHING IN THE FRIDGE just because I can.

Things in the picture, clockwise from top left corner: Plastic bags, napkin dispenser, the box the vac machine came in, a loaf of bread, a Kenwood mixer, a cooling rack, hot pads, and of course in the centre is a vacuum packed wad of ham and the vacuum machine itself. Not sure which of those looked like a mike carton or a bottle, but I'll be at Badger this year so I anticipate seeing mike cartons or bottles of my own. ;-)
